Dear Bonnie,

Thought this would bring a smile to your face... here's a candid snap from last month, when Mulligan awarded Eli his winnings from the tour football pool. You know Eli, so, you know how much he relished this victory. And rightfully so. Came down to the final game between Eli and Ralphie! I landed in the middle of the pack, but at least I beat Poncho and Billy. The photo was taken on-stage right after The Horse soundchecked. Neil, lookin' sharp. We were spread pretty thin on this tour, so we didn't really get to catch up as much as I would have liked. We're learning so much right now. The first-hand Crazy Horse life lessons ... well, we took those in like soup to our tired souls. And, we were nourished. Your old pal (and my life guru) Mr. Dominic DiSaia was behind the lens. Bonnie, you are somewhere in this photo. In fact, you are everywhere in this photo. Thank you for all that you give.

When I was younger, watching my favorite bands on Letterman was always a special treat. I won't digress into the stage's lore, but we felt heavy history vibrate up from the balls of our feet through our newly shattered skulls. It was a special night. Words won't do proper portraiture... so, onwards...

Been writing more and more the last few months. Experiencing the seasons. Ideas are flowing? I hope I'm getting into a bigger picture. Seeing things with a wider lens, maybe receiving information with a bigger antenna. I think I can speak for all the Everest lads that we're refueling and preparing for our next mission. The docket holds a nice smattering of tours and festivals. Spring and Summer will find our wheels rolling again. Relishing the feeling of being ever the underdogs. I can't look too much further than the next step, but I'd be a fool not to look down the line. Learning? Yes, always.
